Was offered 15% disability for my hearing when I came home from Nam,didn't take it because i wanted to work(no discrimination on handicapped at that time 1972) but was diagnosed with ptsd and was turned down for comp. Now they can't even find my paperwork for my hearing. What can I do?Sad tales of incompetent govt. bureaucracy never end.
Sorry to hear of your plight.
Surely your PTSD symptoms have diminished by now.If the Government won't help you out with the PTSD then probably your only choice is to seek treatment on your own. I would highly recommend getting the treatment for the PTSD, I have and it's worth it.
You can always try to file for compensation, sue, etc. but that's a time consuming process and in the mean time you feel like heck.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
